Manx Nature Alliance (MNA)

Manx BirdLife is proud to be a founding member of the Manx Nature Alliance (MNA)—an independent advocacy group dedicated to protecting and restoring biodiversity across the Isle of Man.

Who is MNA?

Together, they combine research, advocacy, and public engagement to ensure both the public and policymakers are well-informed about the Island’s most pressing environmental issues.

Bringing together conservation organisations and ecological experts, the MNA works to amplify the voice for nature, strengthen environmental protection, and hold decision-makers to account. The alliance supports ambitious site protection efforts and plays a key role in shaping strategic responses to urgent ecological challenges.

Current members include:

Manx Bird Life

Manx Wildlife Trust

Isle of Man Fungus Group

Manx Bat Group

Independent professional ecologists
