Made up of the nationally designated Langness, Sandwick and Derbyhaven Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI, 2001).

Manx BirdLife Langness Nature Reserve covers 60 acres of vital coastal and grassland habitat.

Opened to the public in 2024, the Manx BirdLife Point of Ayre National Reserve lies at the northernmost tip of the Isle of Man.

The defining feature of the Ayres National Nature Reserve is its extensive lichen heath, a rare habitat found nowhere else on the Island.

The Island’s most extensive area of marshland with a rich growth of willow and birch and scattered rushy meadows.

Slate cliffs, coastal scrub and wooded glen

This scenic area is well known for its nesting Black Guillemots.

Peel Hill and St. Patrick’s Isle are not only rich in history and scenery but also offer some of the best birdwatching on the island.

The viewing point here is ideal for spotting a variety of seabirds and marine life.
