NATURE RESERVES

Working in partnership – Langness Reserve

Working together

Manx BirdLife, Castletown Golf Links and Nature Vannin are working together to protect and enhance nature across the Langness Peninsula.

By working in partnership with Castletown Golf Links and Nature Vannin on the Langness Peninsula, we’re able to enhance and expand the area managed for both nature and people. Our collaboration brings together shared values and expertise to create something greater than the sum of its parts. Together, we’re helping to ensure this unique and special place is the best it can be—so that the wildlife it supports continues to thrive, now and for generations to come.

About Langness Golf Course Ltd

Langness Golf Course Ltd (trading as Castletown Golf Links) is a Great Britain and Ireland Top 100 Golf Course by Golf World. It was originally designed in 1892 by Old Tom Morris, who also designed the Old Course St Andrews and Royal County Down and in the early 1900’s re-designed by Dr. Alister MacKenzie and Philip Mackenzie Ross of Augusta National and Turnberry fame. Touched by Legends of Old, it has also been in the Rolex Top 261 in the World and 8th Most Spectacular UK & Ireland by National Club Golfer.

Castletown Golf Links works with DEFA to maintain sustainable course management according to ASSI principles.
