Manx BirdLife and the Manx Ornithological Society work together on many private and public events throughout the year for Friends, Members and supporters as well as open events for the public.
All MOS events are weather dependant. If in doubt, please check with Janet Thompson (07624 428953) before setting out.

MOS Event Tue 5th March 2024 | AGM followed by The Migration of Bird Observatories by Guest Speaker Sarah Harris, BTO. Indoor meeting at Union Mills Methodist Chapel, starts 7.15pm. All are welcome. |
Manx BirdLife Event Sunday, 28 April 2024 9.30am - 11.30 am | All welcome (booking essential) Manx BirdLife Point of Ayre National Reserve Guided Walk. Join Manx BirdLife staff at the Point of Ayre National reserve for a tour of the reserve prior to opening this summer. We will take a gentle stroll through the reserve, showing you the work we have carried out to take the site from old industrial quarry to amazing nature reserve. The walk will last approximately 2 hours and there will be plenty of stops along the way to admire the fantastic nature which calls the site home. Walk starts at the reserve entrance gates adjacent to Wright's Pit North (west end of gravel road, NX461044, autos.meerkats.excite). Click here for directions, map and footwear advice.
